In today’s video, I show you how to delete your scooter’s oil pump, run pre-mix, and even turn your old oil tank into an additional FUEL TANK! We start by draining the fuel tank and removing the petcock so we can install a proper fuel tap. This eliminates potential fuel delivery problems and sets us up to gain an entirely additional tank of fuel. Next, I drain the oil tank, install another fuel tap in the bottom, and run two fuel lines (one from each tap) into a Y-piece connector before routing a single line to the carburettor. With that complete, I remove the oil pump, drive belt and oil cable. Then I show you how to pre-mix 2-stroke oil and petrol at a 32:1 ratio, pour it into the tank and hit the road! After dealing with a fouled spark plug and a messy moment, we take the scooter for a full test ride and enjoy all the benefits of running pre-mix. 🔥 If you enjoy the content, don’t forget to LIKE, COMMENT and SUBSCRIBE – it’s the best way to support the channel! ⏱️ TIMESTAMPS: 0:00 - Intro 0:10 - Draining the fuel tank and testing the petcock 0:38 - Removing the petcock 1:18 - Petcock vs fuel tap explained – which is better? 1:50 - My plans for the oil tank – will it work? 2:09 - Removing the scooter oil pump (Pre-Mix Conversion) 2:26 - Will the throttle splitter still work without the oil pump?
