Though my new feline friends have brought me valuable information on the Sages from Dimension Zero, they also eliminated the so-called perfect lifeforms my research team created. A fool I was to think the perfect lifeform was merely an Ancient. However, an interesting breakthrough has happened within the Cat Army’s ranks. It seems in my haste to travel to the land of the Ancients, I left behind a prototype IDI model which the Cats have incorporated within their ranks. Not only has she grown to adulthood, she was also able to flawlessly adopt the abilities of the destroyed Idi:Ne models and developed countermeasures against the Sages of the Zero World. Analysis shows that this model's paleobacteria has mutated in the presence of feline bacteria, granting unparalleled courage. Could THIS model be the perfect lifeform I have spent my entire life pursuing? No, certainly not. Not when I have this much evidence toward the potential of Ancient energy. Stats: HP - 5,000,000 KBs - 8 Range - 350 (LD 250-650) Speed - 8 Damage - 99,999 Abilities: 100% chance to Slow for 6.67 sec 100% chance to Curse for 33.3 sec 100% chance to create an Explosion at 350 range _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ What is Explosion: Explosion is similar to Wave and Surge as a unique damage type. From its origin point, it creates 3 blasts extending outward. The first blast extends 75 range in each direction from the origin, then the second and third blasts extend 100 range from where the previous blast ends. The damage of Explosion is 100% damage on the first blast, 70% on the second, and 40% on the third. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Dr. Nova is an incredibly powerful boss and her Explosions cover for her blindspot perfectly, punishing anything that gets hit. What's the solution? Don't get hit. No, really. Nova's blindspot is the key to victory here. If Nova misses every attack, units in her blindspot are always safe, which can lead to a very fast win using Royal Guard's absurd DPS. Mecha Bun and Idi:NX are also built very well to take on this stage, Idi especially since her DPS vs Nova is 120k and she is immune to Explosions. The stage itself features Relic peons and Jackrabbits as support alongside 2 Othoms and an Oldhorn throughout the stage. Try to get as much damage on Nova as you can before Oldhorn comes in. Courier matches Nova's blindspot range, but will almost never get hit when attacking directly due to speed clipping. Once Oldhorn or Nova are gone, the stage is as good as over. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Clearing this stage unlocks Dr. Nova as a unit. Master of Life Catnova (Lv 50 stats): HP - 164,700 KB - 4 Range - 350 (LD 250-550) Speed - 7 Damage - 35,100 DPS - 4,808 Attack Rate - 7.3 sec Cost - 4,950 CD - 131.2 sec Abilities: 100% Slow vs Traited for 3.67 sec 30% Curse vs Traited for 4 sec 100% Explosion at 350 range Sage Slayer Curse Immune Nova is most closely comparable to Miko Mitama from the Uberfest set (which already gives you an idea of how powerful Nova is). Nova's Slow uptime is about 46-55% without Explosion, depending on Treasures. This proc is carried over by Explosion, potentially increasing the uptime to as much as 75%. This level of control is absurd for a Legend unit, not to mention the additional Curse proc that will occasionally disable essential abilities on enemies like Gobble. While this would be impressive on its own, Nova also has Sage Slayer, allowing her to use her CC to full effect against Sage enemies. This makes her instantly the most powerful anti-Sage unit in the game. However, CC is not her only strength. Her base stats are also incredible, having the highest HP of any Legend unit except for Doron. Her damage with Explosion is also surprisingly high, dealing 9,616 DPS in her sweet spot. This is magnified against Sages, giving her a massive 329,400 HP and 11,539 DPS against them, which is especially important since her 350 range is relatively low and leaves her vulnerable to attacks from most Sage enemies.
