Vintage Thermo Filter Pipe
This is a Thermofilter pipe that I have refurbished. I am uncertain exactly how old it is but I believe its from the 1960-70s. Thermofilter pipes were made in Varese Italy by the pipe maker Fratelli Rossi. They started around 1964 and continued through 1974. These pipes were imported and sold by the company Mastercraft. The pipe shape is a classic billiard. The pipe has original stain and all original stamps are in extremely fine condition. The stem is made of plastic and is original. I removed all marks and polished the stem back up to new condition. I performed a salt treatment on this pipe to remove any ghosting or residual scents and flavors to make it smoke like new again. I have added a new carnauba wax coating to the bowl and stem.
