Since feeling lukewarm about its first issue back when it debuted in 2024, we've since come around on the book and it's become one of our favourites from the entire Absolute line and from DC Comics in general! This book takes nearly a century of established Superman lore and characterization and turns it completely on its head, giving us strange and bold reimaginations of our classic heroes, villains and history, while somehow still remaining true to everything that makes the Man of Steel who he is.
