He places the box under the tire of his truck and lets his truck do all the heavy lifting! Next he tried a series of impacts and throws to see the strength of the Olight Odin mini. Joe throws the Odin mini tactical flashlight from a few different heights and throws it to the ground as hard as he can to see what it can take. We also do the obligatory and confusing freezing the flashlight in an ice block test. We still don't understand why this is a real test of anything. The Olight odin mini is then placed in the mlok mount and we test the durability of the mount. We use a mallet. The light does have a failure point but you have to be doing a lot of things wrong to make this happen. But we swing the mallet at the Odin mini like you don't have any idea what you're doing, just in case. Finally, its shotgun time. We start with lead shot and give the flashlight a few blasts. Then, it's time for steel shot. The flashlight takes a direct hit of steel shot from the shotgun and the results are remarkable! Pew pew!
