Hello! Welcome to my first video Q and A : ) Please don't mind my awkward intro - I'm still really camera shy and not used to seeing my face/hearing my voice on camera. I asked you guys a while ago to send me some questions - and you sent a lot! I wish I could have gone over all of them, but the video would have been like an hour long. I will post some other important questions, here: Best advice for someone who wants to become an artist?: It's hard to single it down to one piece of advice, but I would say to make sure you find the niche that works best for you. Be it illustration, comics, fine art, sculpture, graphic design, etc. Find what you are both good at, and enjoy doing. When you truly enjoy your craft, practice and improvement will be enjoyable - and it will come more naturally than if you are forcing yourself to conform. What is your monthly income/ how much money do you make?: I'm not going to give you all a number - but enough to buy supplies, food, and pay rent. Nothing more extravagant than that. How do you constantly have new and creative ideas? Do you ever get burnt out of have artist block?: I struggle with new ideas sometimes. A lot of what I do doesn't seem new or creative to me, but they are perceived that way by others. I often have art block, which I consider a warning sign of burnout. When I have art block, I try to work on something else creative, rather than painting, for a few days. The last time I had art block, I painted gouache flowers.
