• ONE BC OF PS BINDAPUR ARRESTED BY SPL STAFF/DWD. • ACCUSED WAS ON THE WAY TO COMMITTING ROBBERIES/SNATCHINGS. • ALERTNESS OF THE STAFF AVERTED THE BIG CRIME. • ACCUSED ARRESTED ON THE BASIS OF MANUAL AND TECHNICAL SURVEILLANCE. • ONE COUNTRY-MADE PISTOL AND ONE LIVE CARTRIDGE RECOVERED FROM HIS POSSESSION. • ACCUSED IS PREVIOUSLY INVOLVED IN 20 CASES OF ARMS ACT, THEFT & BURGLARY.  DATE OF THE INCIDENT- Intervening Night of 19-20/05/2022.  PLACE OF INCIDENT/ARREST- Near Machhi Market, Matiyala, New Delhi.  BRIEF DETAIL OF INCIDENT- On 19/05/22, a secret Information was received by the team about a budding criminal namely Vinod Kumar, who is BC of PS Bindapur is carrying an illegal weapon and roaming in the area of PS Bindapur to commit robbery/snatching. As per information, a trap was laid down and the accused was apprehended by the team.  TEAM AND OPERATION- A team led by Insp. Naveen Kumar and comprising SI Bijender Singh, HC Bachhu Singh, HC Praveen & Ct Vipin Kumar under the supervision of ACP/Ops Sh. Vijay Singh was constituted and the team started making surveillance over the criminals who are carrying illegal arms and ammunition. On 19/05/22, a secret Information was received by the team about a budding criminal namely Vinod Kumar, who is BC of PS Bindapur and carrying an illegal weapon and roaming in the area of PS Bindapur to commit robbery/snatching. As per information, a trap was laid down near Machhi Market, Matiyala, Delhi, and the accused was apprehended. One country-made pistol with one live cartridge was recovered from his possession and he was arrested vide FIR No. 385/22 U/s 25 Arms Act PS Bindapur was registered.  ACCUSED ARRESTED- • Vinod Kumar S/o Shyam Sunder R/o Budh Bazar Road, Guru Harkishan Nagar, Age-29 years. (Previously involved in 20 cases of snatchings/thefts etc) He studied up to the 2nd standard. He has two brothers and one sister. During his teenage, he fell into Bed Company and started committing a petty crimes. In the year 2014, he was first arrested in a case of burglary of PS Bindapur.
