My walking, while still considerably better than Tuesday, is worse today. Not unexpected. I want to make a better effort t document my walking changes since that is easier to show on video. Pain and fatigue is not something you can show someone (which is a shame since those are amongst my most debilitating symptoms). I also wanted to showoff my wheelchair. Ha. I never thought I would be so cool rolling around in public in a wheelchair since I had a hard time when I started using a cane. However, by the time I was gifted my chair, I was pretty bad off and was more than happy to be out and about without giving a second thought to my new accessory. Mobility is something I struggle with daily. For multiple reasons (neurological walking impairment, severe fatigue, arthritis, shortness of breath...), using even a cane is now just too difficult for me if I am out. Even then, I usually can only take so much before I am having too much arthritis pain and fatigue to continue on in my chair. I'm so ready to be able to walk again, but until then I will more than happily use my chair.
