'Picasso's Cloud' - An abstract love song written by Dave Wells from his self-titled debut album inspired by the personal history of the late artist, Pablo Picasso. This is the official music video for 'Picasso's Cloud', filmed inside a spooky 1920's dinning room hall at The Stag & Hunter Hotel, Mayfield NSW. If only the walls could tell stories here! Various mediums were used within this dark setting, doused with warm light, surrounded by antique timber murals, mirrors and wild taxidermy. This room has a certain spooky charm about it and by accident, became the perfect film setting for this moody, vindictive and abstract indie rock song, where Dave describes and questions the feelings surrounding the lovers lost, hurt, torn and left behind by a man of no remorse or empathy. Picasso’s Cloud’ was based on the late artist's personal life. I remember looking at the related portraits of his lovers, wondering about the anguish they would have felt from his unfaithfulness. It's a bitter, vindictive and spiteful song.” Web: http://www.davewellslive.com FaceBook: / davewellsoff. . Album available from: https://itunes.apple.com/au/album/sel...
