We discover our next city. Kolobrzeg in Poland. In this particular video we will focus on the seaside and walk along Promenada and Kolobrzeg Plaza (beach). Kołobrzeg is a Polish city on the Baltic Sea, known for its spas. Its Gothic St. Mary’s Basilica has a 14th-century bronze baptistery and a huge 16th-century chandelier. Nearby, the castlelike town hall houses a modern art gallery, a concert hall and a cafe. Stretching far out to sea, Kolobrzeg Pier has views of the promenade and the nearby 17th-century Lighthouse, which was rebuilt after being bombed in WWII. During the peak season which starts Mid May all the way till beginning of September you will find many people coming to visit. Seaside is full of cafes, fish&chip shops as well as restaurants and clothing shops. Many places to buy souvenirs or get ice cream, waffles or more savoury kebabs and Zapiekanki. A long the promenade you will find many stalls with local crafts. Very popular is an art exhibition next to "Pomnik Zaslubin" or the spray art just along the promenade. In the harbour you will find an old light house that is still in operation. If you agree to walk up quite a few steps you will be able to see the amazing view of the sea and the seaside from the top. Alternativly, you can hop on one of the ships to go out on the rejs on the open sea.
