This performance is from "Breakthrough", a moving and fascinating hourlong concert- documentary with Kris and his band, the Borderlords, performing with amazingly heartfelt and honest feelings. His concert at the Boulder Theatre in 1989 was filmed and added by some touching montage footage in several songs as well as some short interview parts in which Kris talks about his evolution from Vietnam volunteer to disillusioned patriot, about freedom and William Blake.
