We jumped on the opportunity to explore the hidden wonders it has to offer, before mass tourism hits the country inevitably. Al Madian, the second holiest site to Muslims, just recently opened its gates to non-muslims visitors into the city boundaries. Our timing was perfect, only a few days before the annual Hajj in Makkah. The city was flooded with muslim pilgrims from around the world, treating us to a very special spiritual uplifting journey 🕌 The city of Jeddah on the Red Sea coast is known for its relatively liberal attitudes and a thriving arts and culture scene.
