Why do you shoot Film? | Shot on the Panasonic LUMIX GH5 (short documentary)

In April 2023, I went with my friend Marco to take some photos in the historic center and in the suburbs of Treviso. We woke up at dawn, he brought his Nikon F80 and I filmed him and the landscape. After this experience, I asked him a question: WHY DO YOU SHOOT FILM? And in this short documentary you can find his answer. I shot this doc with the Panasonic LUMIX GH5, all handheld, and three lenses: the classical Panasonic 12-35mm II f2.8; a vintage one, the Nikkor 50mm f1.4 and the little SLR Magic 8mm f4.0, which was a nice surprise. Each lens had a screw-on ND filter put on it. For the voice over, I played Marco’s voice through an old Panasonic cassette player, to add a nod to the analog era. Marco’s camera is a Nikon F80.
