Snow is in the forecast for much of the West over the coming weeks with many mountainous areas picking up several feet of snow. Windy conditions will prevail for the Plains through the early week as a storm system moves east across South Dakota, bringing strong winds to the southern and central Plains. Snow can be expected by midweek across the northern Plains into the Midwest, while areas of light snow and mixed precipitation can be found across the northern Great Lakes into New England. Cooler temperatures will be confined to the West and Northeast, while the nation’s midsection into the East will see much warmer than normal conditions. We’ll take a look and see when winter might return to the East. We also had a big CME eject from the Sun. I cover all of that and more in today’s video.
