Beware, some Tiger handhelds are very expensive. If you want to build one yourself, be sure you check the value of yours, before you start hacking it. I always thought it would be cool if someone retro fitted a powerful device inside of a Tiger handheld. Originally I wanted to put a cellphone inside one, but when I was dreaming this up, we were still on Android 2.3 (ugh), and it wasn't very game friendly. When the Raspberry Pi Zero was released, I knew this project was even more feasible and slowly started gathering parts. So, what do you think, did I redeem the Tiger handheld? If my Shaq Tiger game wasn't sealed, I would seriously consider doing a stand alone Shaq Fu. lol. Additionally, I would just like to say, that in the day and age of 3D printers, I think it's important that people don't forget about the art form of hand crafting things. Building things by hand make them unique and they help you build dexterity and other skills. Machines can only replicate, what humans create. Furthermore, I want to thank the JPete24 on Thingiverse, who created the RetroPie image that I am using. The only things that I had to do was to rotate the LCD in the boot.config, reassign the gpio buttons in the retrogame.cfg, and configure my usb sound adapter. Other than that, it was a great base system to start with and a significant help to my project. *Adafruit 2.2 TFT (Non Touch) *Raspberry Pi Zero (Not Pi Zero W) *USB Audio Device *Speaker is from DS Lite *Buttons are from DS Lite (I used the silicone membranes as well) *GPIO Buttons (Microswitch on a custom shaped breadboard) *RetroPie 4.2 *External Battery - 2200mah (doubles as a stand. lol ) P.S. I apologize for my flat scripted intro. lol
