Dan flies his Cessna Cardinal 177RG from Kern Valley Airport north to the highest peaks of the Sierra Crest and overflies Mt. Whitney and Tulainyo Lake, the highest lake in the Lower 48. A spectacular flight to and among the highest mountains and lakes in the contiguous United States. Includes flybys of Mt. Whitney, its adjoining Sierra Crest and the stunning and unreal Tulainyo Lake. Close approaches to land features are enhanced with glorious QHD video and position data. Launching from Kern Valley Airport, this flight follows the South Fork of the Kern River up into the Domeland Wilderness and then past to the Sierra Crest north of Olancha Peak.
