Welcome. I’m going to be doing a quick unboxing of the Martin Yale P7200 Paper Folder (Buy it here: https://amzn.to/3lhU7hv ). I know, I know, this is not an exciting product, but I like to document how products are packaged so that we can see the difference between good packaging and poor packaging, and hopefully learn something. This is an example of a heavy, and fragile item that is well packaged. Without this amount of protection, the paper trays could easily get bent and out of wack. The foam side pieces have been carefully molded to fit the machine. It has been fully enclosed in a plastic bag to protect it from moisture, dust, and debris. Cardboard and foam can generate a lot of dust during shipping. Surprisingly, it was shipped with both paper trays in place. That is a bold move, as these could easily be bent and damaged. This large folding tray in the front is for the first fold. If doing a single fold, like a half fold, then only this tray will be used. The smaller folding tray in the rear is for the second fold. When only a single fold is being performed, it is inserted backward to prevent the sheet from entering, and as a result, the paper will bypass that tray. Watch the follow-up video to see some jamming issues that I encountered with a single half fold caused by that second tray, and how I fixed it for good.
