Mega Man - Guts Man's Stage

Well, the time has come to start posting videos of the original Mega Man. This one is... pretty bad in comparison to most of the others, but it is the original, so that is to be expected. Heck, back in this day there was not even 8 robot masters, but 6 instead! Everything about it tends to be inferior to later games... except, perhaps, the difficulty. This game was crafted more like an arcade game, so there is not even so much as a password system, and a lot of the game's difficutly comes from pure cheapness. It is still a fun game, but it can get frustrating... I still like it, though. The first stage I take on is probably a similar first stage for most people... Guts Man's stage. His stage is pretty easy to take on with just the buster, as is Guts Man himself, and most importantly, he gives you the weapon needed to get the only utility in this game, the Magnet Beam. His stage is infamous for the very noisy platforms that you need to time your jumps on to avoid being dumped into the pit, but that is really it. They only appear at the very start of the stage, so once you are past them you will probably be fine. Guts Man himself is nothing special. He jumps around causing ground quakes to knock you over, then tries to throw boulders at you. The sad part is, even if you do get knocked over, you still have time to jump over the boulders, so dodging the ground quakes is actually completely unnecessary. How difficult Guts Man is depends entirely on how close he decides to get to you... The closer he gets, the harder it becomes to dodge the boulders, and the more likely it will be for him to try and jump on you, so you need to be careful. Enjoy!~
