Their pursuit of speed and aerodynamics has put them at the front of road bike wheel technology, and these MTB wheels follow in a similar innovative vein, featuring a single wall design heavily influenced by motocross bikes, hence the name. 3Zero Moto. Zipp says that this Ankle Compliance technology, should increase traction and smooth out rough terrain, whilst allowing lower tyre pressures and reducing rider fatigue. Lateral stiffness was not forgotten, remaining an important factor in Zipp's brief as of course, you'll still want to smash some turns!
