In this novena cycle of the HOLY ROSARY OF MERCY, meditating on the SACRAMENTS OF THE CHURCH, let us reflect today on the sacrament of Order, the Ministerial Sacrament of Order. Who makes Jesus descend into the pure hosts? Who places Jesus in our Tabernacles? Who gives Jesus to our souls? Who purifies our hearts, so that we can receive Jesus? It is the Priest, and only the Priest. He is the “Minister of the Tabernacle” (Heb 13:10); He is the “Minister of Reconciliation” (2 Cor 5:18); He is the “Minister of Jesus to the Brothers” (1 Cor 1:7); He is the “Dispenser of the Divine Mysteries” (1 Cor 4:1). And how many episodes could be narrated of heroic Priests sacrificing themselves to give Jesus to their brothers! Let us pray asking for sanctifying grace for our lives because we are all called to serve in a ministry. But let us also pray for our priests, those who have received the anointing in their hands to bless, to sanctify. That is why let us pray this HOLY ROSARY OF DIVINE MERCY with great faith!
