Argo and I were waiting for the Stewart J. Cort at the George Kemp marina for a very long time until it became evident that they were not going to head down river. Once leaving the lock, they shifted over to the southeast pier to tie up for the night. What I was not aware of at the time is that a large plate of ice had been blown by the wind to block the rock cut, preventing the freighters from proceeding south. Also it seems that while the Cort was in/near the lock, their AIS stopped working.
