This true story of transformation reinforces the value of hard work, determination and guidance in one’s life. Despite having a troubled childhood, she was determined to make herself financially independent to support her family. “My childhood was filled with poverty, helplessness, and fear. We often went hungry to bed. One day, my friend introduced me to ICICI Academy for Skills. I enrolled in the Selling Skills course, which paved the path to my financial independence. I got a job at a leading retail store as a ‘Sales Executive’ and within months I became the top performer at the store. With my salary, I bought a TV and a bike for my family. Today, my family and friends are proud of me and my kitchen is blessed with enough food.
