Roman Staněk is a Czech formula 2 driver, driving in the championship for his third year, but for the first year with a car competitive enough to win. The Invicta driver has had a tough start to season, primarily struggling with tyre management. With that being said, Staněk's tyre management was significantly better in Imola, which ultimately made him one of the faster cars in the sprint race, a race where tyre management is crucial. Starting from 12th place, Staněk used his experience and exceptional race-craft to finish in 8th place, scoring one point. Although luck has not been on his side at all this year, Roman Staněk's Imola weekend reminded the fans that he is still a contender for the title who should never be underestimated. Hopefully things go better from Roman in the coming races. We will be cheering him on until the end!
