On a homestead, regardless of acreage size, there is always something to be done. So, the rain came down, the water table rose, and once the sun came out, we were busy at work. David returned to working on the walls, as we are replacing the 6 mil plastic with some poly board for greenhouses that we were given and had on hand from an order that had gone wrong. I started working on working in areas where there was too much water, and wanting to provide some dry land to walk on. Earlier I pruned one of our blueberry bushes right back. Over 5', the limbs & branches were really in poor shape, so I pruned right down, and it looks like a happier plant. Plants enjoy a good haircut as well.
