This is a compilation of every alert in the files from the ukrainian Air Alert app (aka Тривога!/Alert!). For short, here's the name and description for each alert: Air Raid - The MOST common alert you'll be hearing, where rockets, missiles, and other flying explosive thingamajigs'll be flying above your head. Head over to the nearest shelter, and if you are unable to, get into an enclosed space with no windows. Increased Air Threat: Only plays DURING an existing air raid alert. It basically means that there are rockets confirmed to be directed towards your region. Shelling Attack: Similar to Air Raid, but the missiles are now replaced by ammunition from nearby artillery, which have typically more explosive power. It's far less recommended to be inside of a building, and it's better off just go and find shelter. Urban Fights: The last alert you'll ever want to hear. For short, there are active gun fights in your region. Usually, there'll be an option to evacuate, which is the best you can do. If not, well, stay inside a shelter you can live in for a prolonged amount of time with food and water, and do not in ANY case get out until the alert is over, if you'll still be alive by then, that is. Chemical Threat (yet to be used): Chemical weapons/gas/whatever else is used in your area. Either: immediately find an enclosed shelter, or close and or block all sources of ventilation in your house. Disinfect your clothes, or put them into a plastic container until they are able to be. Radiation Hazard (used only as a false alert ~2 times): Same as Chemical Threat, but far worse. Make sure you have food and water for at least a month, and use them sparingly. Civil Defense Notification: Open your air alarm app, and read whatever's on there. It's typically either survival tips or evacuation routes. National Moment of Silence (unused): It should've played from around 9:00 to 9:01. Stand up still, and take a few moments to take in the weight of the deceased soldiers that will never return to their families. It is still done from all around Ukraine, even without the app.
