Danger! Keep Out! Minigames (Tips for Nights 01, 02, 03 - Dreadbear DLC): Jack o Bonnie & Jack o Chica - Listen for the 'fire ignition' short sound if you can't spot them on camera. That means they're going right to your door. Sometimes other sound effects can preempt or prevent you from hearing it, though. So from time to time, look left and look right. Jack o Bonnie is often tough to pinpoint on the cameras. That nefarious laugh sound usually means one of the two are either near you or warped over to 2B/4B. So Bonnie usually goes 1A - (either 1B or 5) - 2A - (either 3 or doorway or teleport to 2B). He may be going through a vent in 3 to get to 2B...not sure on that. Chica is more straight-forward. 1A - (either 1B or 7) - 6 - 4A - 4B...but sometimes Chica does seem to teleport over to 4B, as well. So it's not 100% like FNaF 1, but it is close. Foxy - * You should probably just flash Foxy before each reboot as the last step if you can help it and not go my silly/risky way in this video of going with the reaction-time hallway light method, lol * You can also use the Hallway Light, but it's ultra-unreliable since the timing window is tiny. Sometimes his run does not give an audio cue, which makes it even more unreliable at the moment. Dread Bear/Dreadbear - Wakes up on Show Stage (1A), moves to 1B. Most common path: 7, then 4A, then 4B. Not sure if Kitchen plays in there in between. ALTERNATE PATH: Can move from 1B to 5 (low-pitch crack noise), through 1C (though seems to be unstoppable on 1C), then eventually to 4A and 4B. I'm pretty sure he'll always end up on your right side. Not sure why he can't be stopped on 1C, though. Flash that dude's camera when you hear the metallic walking noise and he'll stop for a while. You can also use the hallway lights if he's too close. High-pitched lightbulb cracking noise means Dreadbear is getting near enough that you might want to use that Hallway light. Stall him enough and you should be golden. DOOR HITS: You can take up to three hits from Jack o Bonnie and Jack o Chica before the next one causing a jumpscare. You can take one 'pseudo-hit' from Foxy, but that tends to bug out the game (see Bugs section). But if Foxy runs through unstopped, you're done. Dreadbear punches through your door once, and then jumpscares you after. Flash like crazy if he's doing that junk. But try to stop him earlier so you won't have to worry much. Rebooting: If you reboot while having power left, you have to sit out about 10 seconds. If you use all 5 flashes (each taking 20%), power shuts off, and you have to pull the lever at that point. If you don't, you'll sit there with no power forever. So pull that lever down and reboot at that point...but if you have no power to start that reboot, you're going to wait more like 15 seconds, which is rough when everyone is trying to get your autograph. Possible/Likely Bugs: If Foxy just grazes your door, you'll hear a thud, he'll disappear, and the boards are still fully in tact. Almost without fail after that, though, Jack o Bonnie will randomly shows up a few seconds later and instantly jumpscare you, even if you've scared him away. It seems that the boards are treated as if they aren't there in that circumstance? Or maybe Bonnie teleports oddly? Sometimes critical events don't play their audio. My guess is that other sound effects going on preempt the ones you need to hear. Maybe Dreadbear's steps play on top of others at just the wrong time, but often you can't hear the Ignition sound effect (which is critical), and other times, you see Foxy running and there's no whizzing sound effect anymore (which is massively critical if you're using this risky strategy). Bonnie seems to avoid camera updates from time to time...just shows up at your door without ever visibly showing up in 4B. Maybe I'm missing something on this one. Possible Additions: Maybe they're waiting on Scott to voice-act some Phone Conversations. Phones have no conversation currently. If there are further nights in Nightmare mode, I hope they are balanced, lol. Night 03 was pretty brutal for a Normal mode game, but I'm also basing my performance on whether or not I get through consistently with no hits. You can take up to 3 hits without a jumpscare from the Pumpkin Duo. Not sure if there will be more animatronics, or if they'll just be more active.
