Ambrose is Vice Provost for Teaching and Learning and Professor of Education at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. Michael W. Lovett is associate director for faculty development at the Eberly Center and associate teaching professor in the department of psychology at Carnegie Mellon.
