Back in April I shot 100ft of 16mm film along the River Lea to test out my ancient Cine Kodak Model B camera, which I believe was made in 1929. A lovely black leatherette box with a lens sticking out of the front and a hand crank on the side to wind up the motor with. Not the highest quality footage as it was the first time I'd ever shot 16mm (I almost never shot anything, having originally loaded it the wrong way around) but I'm still pleased even if the focus/exposure are a bit off. Amazing to think a machine so old that sat unused for decades still turns out pictures like when it was new without any servicing or repairs. Have sat on the film since I got it back in June after a little editing but rediscovered it last night and felt it was worth sharing. The film is Fomapan R100 (double perforated) and was processed/scanned by Gauge Film. I'll grab another 100ft soon and next time I'll have a tripod to hand. I might try to make some sounds to put to the next one too.
