Classic Canadian Monday 🇨🇦 …… In 1988, an album was released called “Edge Of The Shadow” by a fantastic new Canadian band called Roman Grey … for a time it was never off the turntable at our Sam’s store thanks to the singles “Shangri-La” and “I.B.U” (which they have recently remixed and re-released) as well as absolute gems like “Minute To Midnight”, “Justine” “Ain’t It A Shame” and the gorgeous “Goodbye” …. They found themselves touring with Haywire and Joe Cocker, everything pointed to them being the next big Canadian band, the next Glass Tiger, Platinum Blonde or Honeymoon Suite. Then, it was all over … Ross Roman and David Grey have remained friends and musical partners through all these years and have finally given me the answers to what happened along their musical journey on our latest TRP interview …. Roman Grey are this week’s classic Canadians 🎸🇨🇦
