A film from the Jerry Law film collection. Jerry was a prolific chronicler of surfing on Florida's Space Coast (Brevard County) during the 1970s and early 80s. The Florida Pro contest series was produced by John and Gunnar Griffin who also formed the Association of Professional Surfers, one of the earliest pro organizations. This episode includes some of the most famous names in surfing of the era, both locally and internationally, including The Bronzed Aussies, Shawn Tomson, Greg Loehr, Greg Mungal, Jeff Klugal, Rich Salick, David Nuuhiwa and more... Jerry's films have been digitally re-mastered by the Florida Surf Museum as part of their Digital Archive Project.
