Russian aerial attack hits Ukrainian hospital, injuring at least 7 | DW News

A Russian glide bomb attack on a hospital has injured at least seven people in Ukraine. The attack targeted the main hospital in the city of Kharkiv in Ukraine's northeast. Authorities evacuated dozens of patients. It's the latest in a long series of attacks on civilian targets since Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022. Former prime minister of Ukraine and Chairman of the Kyiv Security Forum, Arseniy Yatsenyuk talks to DW about the attack in Kharkiv and how he interpreted this latest strike. Russia's latest attack comes as Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy prepares to meet his US counterpart in Washington on Friday. Zelenskyy is expected to ask for more military aid, especially Tomahawk cruise missiles there.
