Missing Person In the early morning hours of June 18th 1982 20-year-old Kelly Bergh Dove was working the graveyard shift at the Imperial Oil gas station in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Something she had often done with out fear or reservations. At around 2:15 that morning things took a unpleasant turn. Kelly telephoned the police a short time later to report that a suspicious man in a grey or silver Ford was on the property. Within the next 3 or 4 minutes Kelly made 2 additional calls to the Harrisonburg Police Department. However, when law enforcement arrived at the station they found it deserted. Brooke Wetherell Tel: 540-434-4436 Case 2: The Rockbridge County John Doe On May 27th 1987 a crew of construction workers were repairing a stretch of shoulder along the southbound lanes of I-81 just below Lexington, Virginia. Just north of mile marker 183 they happened upon a set of human remains along with a handful of personal items. In a strange twist of fate the items found with the John Doe would allow law enforcement to identify and successfully prosecute the man's killer, however, they failed to identify the young man whose life had been taken. 35 years later authorities are still searching for the true identity of the man some have dubbed "Veteran Doe."
