Gau Rakshak Shooting: 3 Arrested Within 12 Hrs | Extortion & ₹1 Crore Loss Motive- Rachakonda Police The Pocharam IT Corridor Police in Hyderabad arrested three accused within 12 hours in connection with the shooting incident, while one accused remains absconding. Disclosing the details of the incident, Rachakonda Police Commissioner Sudheer Babu stated that the incident took place on October 22nd in Yamnampet, Ghatkesar, when the accused Mohammed Ibrahim Qureshi shot Prashanth Kumar alias Sonu Singh, an activist of the Gau Rakshak Dal. According to the investigation, the dispute was due to Sonu Singh exposing illegal cattle transport and a financial conflict. Ibrahim had suffered a loss of ₹1 crore due to Sonu Singh's actions, and Sonu Singh had allegedly demanded ₹5 lakh from Ibrahim. Police seized the weapon, a car, and mobile phones from the scene. The injured person was shifted to a hospital where the bullet was removed.
