The GMC Acadia is all-new for 2024, getting a complete redesign inside and out. It’s now bigger, measuring nearly 11 inches longer and 3 inches taller. Stand-out features include a new rugged AT4 trim with a lifted suspension, twin-clutch all-wheel-drive system, and also a refined Denali trim. Acadia is a midsize SUV that seats 5, 6, or 7 passengers depending on configuration and is only available as a 4-door wagon. Competitors include the Honda Pilot, Toyota Highlander, Buick Enclave, Lexus RX and Ford Explorer. Four trims are available: Elevation, Premium, AT4, and Denali. One engine is available: A turbo 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 328 horsepower and 326 lb-ft of torque. All pair to a 8-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard with all-wheel drive being optional. Maximum towing capacity is rated at 5,000 pounds. Pricing ranges from $39,000 to $52,000.
