What brand of oil paint should you buy? This video covers my most used brands of oil paint and brands I recommend for beginners or those on a budget. I cover student grade and artist grade oil paints. These choices are just my opinion of oil paint brands that I prefer when working in a Photorealism, or Hyperrealism style. I have been a realist artist for more than a decade and have developed a unique taste for oil paints. My selection tend toward smoother silkier paints, I prefer soft easily mixed paints that have a good amount of pigment. Oil Paint Brands I suggest: Daler-Rowney Georgian, Grumbacher Pre-Tested, Gamblin Artist Oils, Richeson Oils, Windsor & Newton, and M. Graham artist oils.
