It's a whole nuther story about how Bruce got off of cigarettes after 35 years of smoking, and I got off of them after two years of smoking with him by using electronic cigarettes. So, we found this spot here in Phoenix, met Luis and we have fallen in love with his store. It is awesome. I want you to meet Luis and to hear his story. Here's Luis...who is doing what he loves. That is what we're all about. You know, whether you do it online or offline, it doesn't matter...you just gotta do what you have a passion for and find a way to do it. Luis has done that. So, Luis, tell me how this came to be. Luis: I was a smoker for 26 years -- ever since I was in the 4th grade. It was something that kind of controlled my life. As I got older, I was smoking a pack a day. I used to buy e-cigs from convenience stores, but I didn't like the product. Fortunately, I came across this store in downtown Phoenix that had electronic cigarettes similar to the ones I sell now. The guy walked me thru the whole process -- taught me how to use it, the different flavors, the different levels of nicotine and the next day I went back and got my starter kit. So, from there, I just watched him. I had thought about opening my own store for a year, wondering how a store like that would do in Phoenix. When he opened up his store, I wondered if this was a fad, something that was just going to go away in six months. He had incredible exponential growth and it blew my mind. In six months, he went from zero employees to six or seven employees. So, I knew at that point that this is a business. This is something that is going to grow in the future. We had come across a little bit of money from a tax refund and I literally jumped into this electronic cigarette business for about ten grand. I did the whole décor and design of the store myself. The guys at the other e-cig store were very helpful to teach me about the flavors, the hardware. They were instrumental in my start here. It's been great. I've been at it for six months and I just hired my first employee. I'm enjoying building great relationships with all my customers. That is the exciting part for me -- watching these people get off cigarettes and transitioning over to vaping e-cigs which is not only better for them, but also creating relationships with them. We have quite a few customers that come in just to hang out and lounge in the lounge area. Trisha: I can tell that it has been rewarding for you in many ways, not just financial. Luis: Oh yes. I am such a personable person -- I just really like talking to people. I like hanging out here in the store and I'm not a bartender. A bartender hears all the problems from his customer. Here, it's kind of like a bar, but it's just hanging out and vaping. It's been cool, it's been fun. I've enjoyed it a lot. Trisha: So there you have it. You know, it doesn't take much to take your dream and put it into action. Of course, with a brick and mortar store, it's more, but you can do it online for a lot less. The main thing is that YOU CAN DO IT. It can be done and we have tons of examples of people whom we work with daily that have done it. Go for your dreams.
