Subscribe here: https://7news.link/ThisIsWhy 156 people have died, and nearly 200 were injured in a crowd crush while celebrating Halloween in one of Seoul’s most popular nightlife districts. South Korean authorities have opened an investigation into the disaster. But how do crowd crushes like the one in Itaewon happen? Professor Alison Hutton from the University of Newcastle is an expert in crowd control. She joined us to explain what happened. Many news reports have been calling the tragedy a ‘stampede’.
