Join Bubblepins Membership for Exclusive Content: / @bubblepins Houdini's Crowd Simulation system has an avoidance feature built-in the Crowd Solver which allows you to pre-set agents with avoidance thersholds while they walk about the terrain. You can even align the agents to the normals of the terrain allowing them to crawl on walls and hang upside down on the ceiling! Sometimes you may come across animations with idle motions, which need special configure to allow the Crowd Solver to understand when the agent is actually moving and when it's idling. I improved the Bug Walk animation by using Vellum driven Antennas to make the walk animation more lively. Thanks to a suggestion by a member! Do you remember that foot print scene?
