This is such a beautiful Peak District hike with a bit of everything. I would always recommend a trip to Tagg Lane dairy, especially if its hot for an ice cream if you're in the area and its only a 5 minute drive from Magpie mine. As this is a circular route you have other parking options in Bakewell, Ashford in the water, Monsal Dale and Hassop Station.. lots of choice, but I do think the walk from Magpie mine to Bakewell builds up the perfect appetite to really appreciate fish and chips, if that's what you want of course, but you are definitely not limited to food options on this one, there are great options at all the various points.
