Oksana Torubara is an English teacher and University lecturer with more than 15 years of experience in the TEFL field. In her talk she describes and demonstrates innovative approaches to English language learning by utilizing scribing and graphing techniques. Oksana Torubara is an English teacher and University lecturer with more than 15 years of experience in the TEFL field. She holds a PhD in Professional Education and is an Associate Professor of the Foreign Languages Department in Taras Shevchenko National University “Chernihiv Collegium”. She is keen on continuous professional development and bringing innovative teaching techniques to TEFL classroom. Torubara’s main professional achievements of the year would be participating in “Teaching Lexically” during summer school with Hugh Dellar and Andrew Walkley (London, 2017), participating in “CAMP L.E.A.D,” organized by The United States Peace Corps (Zalishchyky, 2017) and EdCamp Ukraine (Kharkiv, 2017).
