Tower Ladder DESTROYS vacant FIRE building !!

~All Hands~ Date: 1/10/2022 Location: 172nd Street off Hillside Avenue. A little before midnight FDNY Queens dispatchers began to receive numerous 911 calls reporting fire in a house on 174th Street. Engine 298, Ladder 127, and the 50 Battalion turned out from their firehouse on Hillside Avenue. Engine 298 transmitted the 10-75 confirming a working fire on the first floor. Members worked in freezing temperatures and dangerous conditions inside of the vacant house to extinguish the fire. Eventually the Chief of the 13th Division pulled all members out so that Ladder 127 could blast the house with the Tower Ladder and extinguish the fire.
