Special thanks to Bill at Auxito for sending me these and having patience as it took way longer than expected to have time to work on the car. If you are shopping for new lighting, check out https://auxito.com/ and support those who support me. In today's how-to we take a look at my Nissan GTR (R35) and replace the standard high beam lights. I may drive with my high beams on more than others since I live outside the city, but these were a tremendous update and didn't take long to install if the wheels were off. The lights fit great and have a safer, brighter output. I hope this helps your installation! What you'll need for install: Clip Removal Tool/Flat Head Screwdriver Phillips Screwdriver Jack Jack Stands Lug Removal Tool (17mm or Key) Torque Wrench Directions: Safely park the car on a level surface and pull the parking brake. Jack up the front of the car so that you can remove the front two wheels. Use a clip removal tool or flat head screw driver to remove the push pins under the car, there should be 5 of them. Remove the remaining clips from the fender liner, you do not need to remove the fender liner closest to the cabin. From here, take a phillips screwdriver and remove the screw and fastener closest to the front of the car. The fender liner should pull away easily. The high beam housing is the further cap. It is tucked behind the low beam. Ensure that you are working on the correct one by testing your high beams. Disconnect the battery now if you do not feel safe working with these wires. Twist the high beam dust cover about 20 degrees and it will open up. Twist the high beam light roughly 40 degrees and it will be able to be removed. Unplug this and replace with your Auxito LED replacements. Install again, making sure to twist lock both the light and the dust cover, and replace the push pins to the fender liner. Install the wheel and torque to the proper specifications. Repeat for the other side. Thank you for watching!
