Thanks for stopping by! This pin board is a bit of a departure for me, but it was so much fun to make, so I thought I'd share. The frame I used was inherited from my grandmother, but you should be able to find something similar online, at antiques shops or flea markets. The backing is a layer of thin wooden board and 1cm thick cork. Since the cork is so thick, the pins hold a lot of weight and I'm using my board to store sewing supplies like scissors. Plus, of course, pieces of paper with all my appointments and to-do lists. If you don't have an embroidery frame and tambour hook, there's lots of alternatives: you can hand stitch with or without a hoop embroider with a sewing machine fabric paint (probably the easiest) If you have any questions or comments, just comment below and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
