Runner: Dan Date: 2022-09-30 IWAD: Doom2.wad PWAD: smax.wad Category: UV-Max Map: 15 (Necroveins) Source Port: DSDA-Doom v0.24.2 Time: 5:01 Description: I persisted for a long time in trying to figure out a way to save one of the invulns for the vile phase, but it's an absolute nightmare of RNG, and I couldn't be bothered in the end. This is largely the same as Vile's route, but I focus a lot more on clearing revs out at the start of the last phase before the viles are revealed. Was hoping to get a sub-5. I had a 4:42 in practice using this same route, but you need to dedicate much more time to LOSing the viles in real attempts when you don't have rewind. This was my 6th exit (4 of those being between 5:15 and 5:11) and I'm pretty much done with this map. There's a million little annoying things that you have no real control over that can screw you up at any point. Still a fun map, just not one I want to grind any further :)
