As of the time of uploading this video, it is currently my 26th birthday. This time, I wanted to celebrate with a very underground mouse-only game on Steam that I found by complete chance a few weeks back. cursor0x0 offers 40 levels (5 tiers of 8 levels), with each level testing a specific mouse skill. You start off with 4 levels and a boss fight that unlocks after beating all other levels before it. After you beat the boss of a set, the next set of levels as well as a new level type are revealed, and new bonus objectives (signified by a golden check) for each level are gradually revealed (only shown after beating the level once) which must be beaten to unlock and play other levels. Once you defeat the third boss, all bonus objectives are unlocked, and a new All-in-One objective (signified by a white check) is able to be acquired by satisfying all bonus objectives simultaneously. After you beat the fourth boss, the final set of levels appear, as well as the true last boss, where the unlock condition is to get the All-in-One objective for EVERY level. This video is for the Advanced (aka standard) difficulty, but there are two other difficulties: Rookie (slower enemy movement & attack rates, lenient objective requirements) and Expert (hard difficulty, only unlocked after beating Advanced, much faster enemy movement & attack rates, difficult objective requirements). This is a personal dream game for me. I always loved mouse games for some particular reason, but it sometimes felt like there were never truly any great ones out there despite all my efforts. Soundodger 2 is a rare example of a fantastic mouse game, but it only ever tested my avoidance and routing skills. cursor0x0 is different, and it's abundantly clear to me that the developer was searching for the same type of experience, and for what it's worth, he damn well did a fucking good job at that. Thank you so much, error0x0! Steam Store Link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/18...
