For most of us shooting landscape or nature photography as a hobby, anytime we travel anywhere to take photos we are almost required to plan our spots because of the limited time we have out in the field. This is something I did myself for years and still do it now, but also I spend a lot less time planning and more time just trying to get a general idea of places I can go while putting more emphasis on the exploration rather than the destination. In this episode I go in completely blind. I don't know a single thing about the places we are visiting let alone what they look like. The experience is both rewarding and challenging. This was something I became increasingly better at after living on the road considering I was visiting spots where you can't plan anything. The sum of those experiences allows us to explore our photography in an almost childlike way, seeing and experiencing things completely blind without any expectations. I cannot stress enough to let yourself do the same thing. Don't worry so much about specific spots and start seeing by not knowing.
