DUCK And GOOSE HUNTING Mixed Bag! | Maryland Duck Hunting 2024!

The third duck split in Maryland means that duck and goose season is open. On this hunt I head out to the duck blind with my Brady, Colby, Quinn, my Dad, and our buddy Ron. We are setting up on a larger lake that holds ducks and geese. A strong northwest wind usually brings the birds to this spot as they seek shelter from the gusty conditions. We had action all morning with a mixed bag of wood ducks, mallards, hooded mergansers, and geese. A lot of our shots were birds on the water or jumping birds that had landed, but sometimes that is how it goes. I have no problem with water swatting!
