Email me: [email protected] **** In this video: We start to freedive around some mangroves near my marina and work our way south along the mangroves to Tavernier Creek. We were in very shallow water. 2ft max. Next time I look for lobster in mangroves I will find somewhere deeper. 4-6 feet. I did see a big barracuda, a nice snook and a bunch of good looking mangrove snapper in the mangroves. But you are not allowed to spearfish in the bay so the sun started to set and it was time to catch some snapper. After all this is going to be a catch n cook video! heh I also really wanted to catch shrimp. I brought my shrimping light and was extremely hopeful that I would catch some, but it seemed like the shrimp never showed up. I need to get better at catching shrimp. We did catch some nice mangrove snapper along with a few other things including a big Stick Fish that Chris caught! Hah. We fishing into the night and called it quite after we ran out of chum. But there's catch and cook in the cooler and game on! When we get home I put the fish on ice and went to sharkies for a few drinks, the next day I took some friends out for a sunset cruise and saw some dolphins and even a big saltwater croc! So many things distracting me from doing the catch clean cook hah. The next night I scale the fish, roll them in corn meal and fry them whole. This catch and cook uses a recipe I've used before and couldn't be more happy with. It tastes amazing every time!
