Testing these Lithium Ion batteries from XTAR in my Mini Z's and the Team Associated SR27. If there is any one thing holding Kyosho's Mini-Z back it would be the batteries. The Mini-Z makes EXTREMELY good use of the four AAA cells that its designed for in stock form, but at some point you need to get past 4.8 volts, especially when you start modifying your car. The AAA limitation makes it a bit challenging to get a Kyosho chassis car into mod class these days because most people are running a lipo of sorts. If these batteries work out how I hope they will, they'll get us to 6 volts, which is much closer to the 7.4 that others will be running on the track. I should say that XTAR did send me these batteries for free, but that's not going to influence my opinion on them. The only good review, is an honest review, and that's what I intend to provide in this video.
