One Day Without Shoes

The skateboarders came together in support of "Toms" shoe company, One Day Without Shoes. A large percentage of children in third world countries are stricken with sometimes life threatening disease through cuts and sores on the feet that could otherwise be prevented with a simple pair of shoes. Also, often schools have rules for dress that include a pair of shoes that exclude many of these kids that can't afford them. By going the day barefoot we hoped to shed a little light on this issue, as well as have a very small feel for what children in these places feel every day. To support this cause check out Toms shoes, "One for One" policy, where for every pair of shoes sold a pair is given to a child in need.
